RAPTOR Birdchaser
RAPTOR uses digitally enhanced recordings of actual predators, and complements this with a new registration of birds in need, to trick birds into thinking they are in great and imminent danger. This causes them to flee the area at once, and if they return, they will hear the same sound again.

Description
Birds, mice and rabbits have very well-developed hearing, and they constantly monitor their environment for possible sources of danger. If they hear the sound of one of their natural predators, or the sound of another animal being attacked, their natural instinct is to escape from the area as quickly as possible. Many birds, including sparrows, pigeons, starlings, crows, magpies and most rodents have often been attacked by predators such as hawks or owls. The advanced PIR that sits on the device senses the animals’ body temperatures, after which it is activated.
RAPTOR uses digitally enhanced recordings of actual predators, and complements this with a new registration of birds in need, to trick birds into thinking they are in great and imminent danger. This causes them to flee the area at once, and if they return, they will hear the same sound again.
By exploiting these predatory tendencies, RAPTOR will produce sounds such as hawks, eagles, falcons and owls to scare away unwelcome birds such as sparrows, blackbirds, pigeons, crows, starlings and various other birds away from your property. This humane and environmentally friendly method will solve your problem with pest birds without harming humans and other creatures. In addition, it can also deter rodents and rabbits in open fields. With the PIR function, the RAPTOR can be used as a special safety device. It will sense the movement of each intruder and activate the bird hunt. A volume adjustment button is available.
Installation
Attach the unit to a pole or wall where a power source is available. Connect the adapter to the electrical outlet and set the switches and knobs according to your requirements.
When the unit is set to PIR mode, it takes about 45 seconds to warm up to hear the first sounds. The unit will cover an area of 130o at a distance of up to 10 meters. The LED lights up continuously. When a bird flies into the coverage area, the unit will emit the sound to scare away the intruder. You can adjust the volume knob to the appropriate volume. Time interval does not work in PIR mode.
When set to AUTO mode, the LED indicator flashes at a speed based on the time interval. The longer the interval time, the slower the blinking. The time interval can be set from 5 to 30 minutes by adjusting the knob clockwise. In the same way, you can also adjust the volume control. Birdchaser send predator calls every 5 to 30 minutes automatically.
A built-in photocell disables the device when it is dark as the activity of most birds decreases. You can also turn off the unit by switching to the OFF mode.
For a small area or when used for safety reasons, it is suggested to use PIR mode. For best results, hang the unit 1 to 2.5 meters above the ground. Avoid obstacles within the unit’s work area.
For larger areas such as farms, orchards or large farms, it is recommended to use the AUTO mode and adjust the time interval according to your needs.
It is also recommended that you experiment with different locations to find the most effective position to install the device.
